Admissions to the Juris Doctor Program

The OLLCF Law Admission Process

Admission to the Juris Doctor program is highly selective and competitive. Applicants are evaluated based on their academic record, performance in the entrance examination, interview assessment, and compliance with all submission requirements.

  • **Non-discrimination Policy**: Admission is open to all qualified applicants regardless of gender, religion, or ethnic origin.
  • **Application Period**: Applications are typically accepted from **March to June** for the upcoming Academic Year. Please check the official Academic Calendar for exact dates.
  • **Interview**: All successful examinees must attend a mandatory interview with the Dean or an authorized faculty committee.
  • **Conditional Admission**: Admission may be conditional pending the submission of final documents (e.g., Honorable Dismissal, Official Transcript of Records).

Prerequisites for the Juris Doctor Program

In compliance with Legal Education Board (LEB) Memoranda, all applicants must meet the following criteria before the start of the program:

A. General Requirements
  • Must be a **graduate of a Bachelor's degree** in arts or sciences from a recognized college or university.
  • Must have earned at least **eighteen (18) units of English**, **six (6) units of Mathematics**, and **eighteen (18) units of Social Science** subjects.
  • Must pass the **OLLCF College of Law Entrance Examination**.
  • Must pass the **Admissions Interview**.
B. Document Submission Requirements
  • Duly accomplished **Application Form**.
  • **Official Transcript of Records** (TOR) from all colleges/universities attended (Original and one photocopy).
  • **Certificate of Good Moral Character** (2 copies).
  • **Honorable Dismissal** or Transfer Credential.
  • **NSO/PSA-Authenticated Birth Certificate** (Original and one photocopy).
  • Two (2) copies of 2x2 ID pictures.

How to Apply in 3 Simple Steps

Step 1: Application & Submission

Submit all required documents to the College of Law Secretary's office and pay the non-refundable Entrance Exam Fee.

Step 2: Entrance Examination

Take the scheduled OLLCF College of Law Entrance Examination. Examination dates will be provided upon submission of documents.

Step 3: Interview & Enrollment

Pass the interview. Successful applicants will be given a Notice of Acceptance and may proceed to the Registrar's Office for enrollment.
